The Uniontown Middle School 8^th grade volleyball team won two of three sets (25-20, 23-25, 15-9) to improve to 2-0 on the season.

Juliet White and Aubrie Merschat paced the team with six aces each, with White also finishing with three digs.

Ellie Carei had three kills and two aces, Jocelyn Pindrock had five aces, and Ania Brimage had four aces.

Carei leads the team in kills after two matches this season.

Also recording kills for Uniontown: Lani Uluilakeba, Tae’Maura Richardson, Jordin Dillinger, and Kathleena Orendorff.

Pindrock, White, and Molly Wystepek each also had at least one assist.

Orendorff recorded the first officially scoring block of the season during the match. 

The Uniontown 7^th grade volleyball team also emerged victorious yesterday over Brownsville (25-16, 27-25) to improve to 2-0 on the season.

Kenleigh Ravenscraft recorded eight aces and three digs, while Katie White finished with two aces and two kills.

Kyrah Witt added an ace and two digs and Kendal Burnworth had four aces and a kill.

Also recording kills for Uniontown: Taylor Dennis, Rhiannon Feather, Maria Capan, Sincere Dunlap, and Sadie Savage. 

The Red Raiders will next host the West Greene Pioneers on Monday, February 5, 2024. The 7th grade match is set to start at 4:00pm. 

Uniontown also anticipates two away matches next week, with the Red Raiders visiting Waynesburg on Tuesday and Ringgold on Thursday.
